Ongoing series of birds depicted on unglazed stoneware.  Here we have two red-factor canaries with a border of stripey swirly worms. This platter has a sandy texture, hand painted with flat colour. Leaving these pieces unglazed and firing to 1200 degrees gives them a beautiful matt finish. For decorative use only, whether on a stand or hung on the wall. To clean, please submerge in water and allow to airdry.
